The Honourable Bishop Nkosinathi Myaka, Chairperson of the KZNCC Executive Committee (EXCO) will on Tuesday, 24 Nov 2020, collaborate with the KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala for a Day of Thanksgiving-Prayer in the province in the wake of the Coronavirus epidemic
The Day of Prayer was proposed during a meeting of the Church Leaders Group under the auspices of the KwaZulu-Natal Christian Council in a recent meeting held in Durban.
During the meeting it was discussed that it was proper and inevitable to offer “Ebenezer” praises (give thanks to God) for God’s rapid response; since March when leaders gathered to ask for a divine supernatural intervention.
Therefore this event is ultimately an Intercessory Prayer in the midst of the spread of COVID-19.
We want to give praise to God for all survivors and for the divine intervention.
As Christians, we turn to God in times of fear and uncertainty as we do in times of joy and celebration. Please join us as we pray for God’s heart of love, mercy, and truth to dwell in us and show us how to face the challenges posed by the new coronavirus.
